About Meg Link - Coastal Oil Painter

Hi, I’m Meg Link, an oil painter with salty hair and sandy toes. I grew up in Baltimore, chased the ocean every chance I could, and now call Atlanta home (though my imagination is almost always seaside).

I earned my BFA in Oil Painting and my MFA in Integrated Design, but my real education has come from traveling, camera in hand, catching the ever-changing moods of the coast. My work lives mostly on canvas, where I explore coastal landscapes, waves, and all the little in-between moments that make the beach feel like magic.

For me, painting is about bottling up the feeling of being there, the sun on your face, the crash of the surf and that perfect pause you never want to end.

When I’m not painting, you can usually find me running (I’ve completed over 15 marathons), digging in my garden, or chasing after my dogs. They keep me grounded when my head (and heart) are off at the beach.
